Five golden tickets were included in match day programmes for every game of the season. Those who were lucky enough to find a golden ticket were invited on the Portman Road pitch at half time to show off their football skills as they were challenged to kick a ball into the boot of a Fiat Grande Punto. The skilful three were invited back for the last home match of the season where they once again had to master the same trick. With all three contestant's fancy footwork letting them down in the second half of the competition, the competition concluded with a nerve-racking tie-breaker question that Gary French swiftly answered securing him the grand prize.
"I've never won anything in my life, and this prize is just amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better prize at a more perfect time, as my car has just broken down! The Fiat Grande Punto is such a stylish car, I can't thank Desira enough, they've been great," beamed Gary.
Over 100 Ipswich Town fans took part in the competition which has been run with the fantastic support of Desira Fiat in Ipswich who generously provided the Fiat Grande Punto. The prize couldn't have gone to a greater Ipswich Town supporter; Gary French showed that he really is a true blue as he collected his brand new dark blue Fiat Grande Punto from Desira Ipswich. Gary drove out of the showroom a very happy man, for him, it really was a bootiful prize.
