This small car is Citroen's latest small vehicle which is set to rival other small cars such as the MINI Cooper. The DS3 is essentially a supermini which portrays the prestige DS badge, and is set to storm the small car market. The French company have packet the DS3 with a wide variety of options, for example there will be a range of engines available, up to a turbo charged version with over 150 BHP! First announced at February the Citroen is essentially a new C3 sharing the same structure and transverse rear suspension layout. During the anticipation of the Citroen's release, it has become one of the most awaited cars of the year since the original model on the DS was released back in 1959. A total of five engines will be available for the small car, including two 1.6 HDi diesel engines each producing 90 BHP or 110 BHP. The standard 1.6 petrol engines produce 95 BHP, whilst the most powerful engine can produce over 150 BHP. Despite the impressive stats for a small car, the DS3 only emits 99g/km of CO2; therefore you won't have to pay for road tax which will be a substantial saving over time.
