SURPRISE WIN A DOUBLE DELIGHT
He popped in to have his Alfa Romeo Spider serviced and was admiring the cars in the showroom when Alfa Romeo Sales Manager, Craig Gibson told him he had won a car in a recent Desira customer prize draw!
Mr Geering, from Lowestoft, had been due to receive a telephone call from Head Office, but when Craig saw him in person it seemed the ideal opportunity to break the good news.
Instead of accepting the gift for himself, Mr Geering decided to use the opportunity to give two Fiat 500s to his daughters, Georgia and Courtney. The trendy Italian fashion icon was the perfect choice for his daughters, who have such similar taste that their 500s will be near identical.
Mr Geering's eldest daughter, Georgia, turned 19 on the day she was taken to Desira's Heigham Street showroom for the surprise to be revealed. Georgia excitedly chose her car specifications and accessories for her new Fiat 500.
She told Craig Gibson that she was "gobsmacked" and the surprise had certainly made her birthday.
Courtney, Mr Geering's younger daughter took ten minutes to be convinced that it was not a practical joke. It is a dream come true for Courtney as she will soon turn 17 and will start driving lessons with the excitement of a brand new Fiat 500 waiting for her.
Mr Geering bought his Alfa Romeo Spider from Craig Gibson at Desira's Heigham Street branch in Norwich and also owns an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA.
He has been a customer at Desira for four years. He said "I have always found the service at Desira Alfa to be very good. They are happy to pick up my car and also give it a valet and will drop me off at the airport when necessary."
Mr Geering works in the oil industry so this helps him manage his busy lifestyle.
A love of Desira's Italian range is kept in the family as his brother has also been a customer of Desira Alfa for two years and owns two Alfa Romeos.
Desira hopes Georgia and Courtney enjoy their new Fiat 500s and will continue the family's love for Italian cars.
