Much-loved by its designers, critics and the public for over 30 years, the newest edition of the Panda comes with greater interior space and comfort, improved safety features, and a choice of excellent motors that offer both performance and ultra-low running costs.
Whilst the length of the new Fiat Panda comes in at just 3653mm, the boot capacity of the Panda has been extended to 225 litres – a figure which increases to 870 litres with the rear seats folded. Moreover, the tailgate has been lower and wider to make loading and unloading the vehicle more convenient still. 14 different storage compartments have also been included, meaning that there is always somewhere useful to put smaller items.
The new Fiat Panda is not only roomier, however; alterations to the suspension and improved sound-deadening technology results in a quieter, smoother ride. Journeys are made more pleasant still by the superb performance of the three engines engines on offer, which include the 2011 International Engine of the Year in the shape of the 0.9 litre TwinAir turbo motor – a small engine that packs a relatively huge 85hp whilst delivering fuel economy of nearly 70mpg and carbon emissions as low as 95g/km (exempting Panda drivers from UK road tax).
