DRIVING PERFORMANCE
4 common-rail diesel engines
With a choice of four advanced, direct-injection common-rail diesel engines, the Interstar has a power unit that suits the type of work you do. Engines range from the 1.9-litre unit that delivers 82 HP and 200 Nm of torque, to the 3.0-litre with 136 HP and 320 Nm of torque. Most are available with a 5-speed gearbox, while the 115 HP and 136 HP units come with a six-speed transmission.

Good stability & handling
A wide track, power steering and independent front suspension ensure reliable stability and easy, assured handling.

Cruise control
You can opt for cruise control* which maintains a selected speed without accelerating, making it more relaxing when driving long distances. The system is activated through two switches on the dashboard, one turns the system on and the second maintains your desired speed once you’ve reached it. (* as part of the Technology pack)

RUNNING COST
3-year manufacturer’s warranty and 6-year anti-corrosion warranty
The Interstar, like all Nissan commercial vehicles, is backed by a 3 year or 60,000 mile warranty (whichever is sooner). This comprehensively covers your new Nissan in case of defects in materials and workmanship. For your reassurance, the Interstar’s body is also protected by a 6 year anti-corrosion warranty, and paintwork is protected by a 3 year warranty.

Low fuel consumption engines
Interstar’s running costs are as satisfying as its performance. The highly efficient engines deliver impressive economy. And the 100-litre fuel tank gives you a long range.

Long service interval
With a view to minimising your operating costs, Interstar has been engineered to go long distances between services. The common rail diesel engines available in the Interstar range offer 24,000 miles (or 2 years) between services for all engines apart from the 1.9 litre, for which service intervals are of 18,000 miles.

PASSIVE & ACTIVE SAFETY
3-point seatbelts are standard on all Interstar front seats, along with a driver's airbag. You also get seatbelt load limiters and pretensioners and can opt for a passenger airbag.

Efficient braking system
ABS is standard on SE grade and comes with two other systems that help you stop safely. Braking hard normally increases the load on the front brakes. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) balances the braking effort between the front and the back of the vehicle for maximum braking efficiency. At the same time, Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) amplifies the pressure you put on the pedal in emergency braking.

Rear parking sensor
Reverse with complete confidence. 4 sensors in the rear bumper measure how close you are to people and obstacles behind you. An audible signal tells you exactly how much space you have left. This is a standard feature on the SE grade.

SECURITY
Central door locking
Remote central locking is standard across the range and makes it easy to stay secure. As soon as the Interstar reaches a speed of 4m/h, the doors automatically lock, giving you increased security for you and your cargo.

Alarm system
The NATS alarm upgrade offers perimetric exterior and ultrasonic interior protection. It’s more reliable than generic systems, reducing the chance of a false alarm.

Engine immobiliser
We’ve equipped Interstar with an immobiliser to deter thieves. The engine won’t start without the coded ignition key. So you’ll always find your Interstar just where you left it.
