New Nissan Qashqai
The Qashqai made its debut at the Geneva motor show in 2004 as a concept car. UK sales began February 2007, and 1 million have been produced at the Sunderland Plant.
Grades
The Nissan Qashqai is available in four different grades. Visia, Acenta n-tec and Tekna. All are available in either petrol or diesel.
Engine Options
There is a wide variety of engine and transmission combinations to choose from. Engines options include; 1.6 litre petrol (with or without Stop / Start.) 2.0 litre petrol and 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 litre dCi diesels. All three has a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The different transmission options include 5 and 6 speed manuals, CVT and a 6 speed automatic.
There is also a choice of 2 or 4 wheel drive.
Safety
All Qashqai models come complete with the latest safety systems including ESP, (Electronic Stability Programme) which controls the brake pressure to each wheel and ABS. (Anti-lock Brake System.) ABS includes EBD. (Electronic Brake Distribution.) All models also include driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags.
Options

Low Emissions
The emissions from the various Qashqai engines range from 139g/km to 194g/km.
