New Nissan X-Trail

The Nissan X-Trail was first produced by Nissan in 2001. The current model, which is the second generation, was launched in 2008 after its premier at the Geneva Motor show in 2007. The second generation of the Nissan X-Trail received a ‘facelift’ in 2010.

Grades

The Nissan X-Trail is available in two different grades. Acenta and Tekna.

Engine Options

Both grades are available with diesel engines.

The 2.0 litre Turbo diesel engine is available with a 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic transmission. The manual transmission has 173bhp and the automatic has 150bhp (Tekna only)

Safety

All X Trail models come complete with the latest safety systems including ESP, (Electronic Stability Programme) which controls the brake pressure to each wheel and ABS. (Anti-lock Brake System.) ABS includes EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution). All models include driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags. All have active front headrests with height adjustments.
