Desira OMODA & JAECOO to lead Run Norwich 2025 10 Year anniversary race with the all-new JAECOO 7 PHEV SUV

The Community Sports Foundation and Run Norwich are proud to announce that the all-new Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) JAECOO 7 SUV, provided by Desira, will take centre stage as the lead car in this year’s Run Norwich 10k.

The 10k road race, renowned for uniting the city with its vibrant mix of elite athletes, fun runners, and enthusiastic supporters, looks to improve its sustainability efforts year on year. The inclusion of the JAECOO 7 aligns seamlessly with the event’s ongoing commitment and efforts to reduce its environmental impact.

The JAECOO 7 combines innovative hybrid technology with bold SUV styling. Its plug-in hybrid system offers the flexibility of electric driving with the extended range of a traditional engine – making it an ideal partner for the city’s flagship running event. With its ability to run in zero-emission electric mode, the JAECOO 7 will lead the way through the streets of Norwich in style, while reflecting Run Norwich’s pledge to champion greener choices across all aspects of the race.

It demonstrates how innovative hybrid technology can play a role in large-scale community events like ours.”
