The All-New Nissan LEAF has been crowned 2026 Auto Express Car of the Year, reinforcing its position as one of the UK's most exciting new electric vehicles. Building on more than 15 years of Nissan EV expertise, the third-generation LEAF impressed the Auto Express judging panel, taking home an incredible three awards.
Alongside the overall 2026 Car of the Year title, the All-New Nissan LEAF was also named Affordable Electric Car of the Year and Small Company Car of the Year. The judges praised its outstanding combination of impressive electric range, advanced technology, comfort, driving dynamics and exceptional value, making it a standout choice for private motorists, business users and fleet customers alike.
Auto Express described the LEAF as delivering an unbeatable blend of long-range capability, competitive pricing, refined ride quality and premium interior space. With its striking new design and advanced electric powertrain, the All-New LEAF stood above a wide range of electric and petrol rivals to secure the publication's highest honour.
