On Sunday 6 September, thousands of runners took to the streets for the 2026 edition of Run Norwich, with Desira proud to once again be the event's Official Lead Car Partner. Leading the way around the iconic 10K course was the all-new JAECOO 8 SHS, helping set the pace as more than 8,000 runners took on one of the city's biggest sporting events.

At the two-day Race Expo on the lead up to the race, we were showcasing our latest models, including the Lead Car – the JAECOO 8 SHS, alongside the bold and versatile OMODA 7 and the JAECOO 7 SHS. The Expo provided the perfect opportunity for runners, supporters, and visitors to get up close with our exciting new range, experience their standout design and technology, and discover more about the future of driving with OMODA and JAECOO.

We were proud to be at the front of the action once again and to see the JAECOO 8 SHS leading thousands of runners through the streets of Norwich.
Run Norwich is about much more than running 10 kilometres. Organised by the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, the event brings together thousands of people from across Norwich and beyond while helping support local community and disability programmes. From elite athletes chasing course records to first-time runners completing their first 10K, everyone had their own reason for taking part. And with more than 600 volunteers helping make race day happen, the event once again showcased the incredible community spirit across Norwich.
