On the fifth anniversary of World EV Day, Nissan is readying its first high-performance EV, Ariya NISMO, to hit European roads. Sleek, dynamic and 100% electric, it breaks the mould as an all-electric sensation that doesn't compromise.
Building on Nissan's rich NISMO heritage while retaining its Japanese-inspired design, Ariya NISMO combines all the benefits of the regular 87kWh Ariya e-4ORCE with a host of motorsport-inspired upgrades to deliver an even more exhilarating driving experience. And just like its NISMO stablemates, it's designed to be everyday accessible, offering stunning on-road performance in an affordable, practical package.
The Nissan Ariya NISMO takes the performance of the 87kWh Ariya e-4ORCE to the next level with a NISMO-tuned powertrain that delivers 435 PS (429 HP) and 600 Nm of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just five seconds and from 50-70 mph in 2.4 seconds. Enhancements to the e-4ORCE four-wheel-drive system, inspired by the GT-R NISMO's ATTESA technology, enable the Ariya NISMO to deliver greater grip and agility, adjusting power distribution 10,000 times per second with a new 60:40 rear bias for improved handling. Upgraded suspension and steering, along with the addition of i-Booster for enhanced braking and a dedicated NISMO driving mode, ensure a more dynamic and thrilling driving experience without compromising road safety.
The all-new Nissan Ariya NISMO boasts a meticulously redesigned interior that blends sporty performance with premium comfort. Its seats, trimmed in a suede-like material and featuring NISMO logos, are crafted for dynamic driving, providing enhanced support and grip during sharp turns. The NISMO essence is evident throughout, with digital gauges, iconic red stitching on the steering wheel, and signature red accents that exude a high-quality, sporty ambiance. This is complemented by the use of a sleek blackened wood texture, adding a touch of sophistication and modern style to the overall design.
