Exterior
With sleek lines penned by legendary Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Korando sports a modern grille and projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights to give a sharp contemporary look. Rear-seat passengers will appreciate privacy glass fitted to EX and ELX models.
Every Korando comes fitted with practical roof rails, chrome twin exhaust tailpipes, front fog lights and stylish alloys. The SE trim has 16-inch wheels, the EX trim has 17-inch alloys, and top-of-the-range ELX cars have 18-inch diamond-cut rims.
Interior
The Korando provides a commanding view over the road, and the car’s wide design allows five adults to travel in comfort, with lots of shoulder and elbow room for the whole family. Performance and Economy
SsangYong has developed a powerful and efficient 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine using contemporary technology to meet the strict new Euro 6 emissions standards. With 176bhp and 400Nm of torque from just 1,400 rpm, the new engine is extremely flexible, offering lots of low-rev power that make it a perfect tow car with a two-tonne capacity. It will reach 60mph before the stopwatch strikes ten seconds.
You can choose from two or four-wheel drive. CO2 emissions can be as little as 139g/km and fuel economy as high as 53.3mpg, making SsangYong Korando affordable to run, too.
Safety and Technology
Every Korando features cruise control to make long-distance drives even more comfortable, along with Bluetooth connectivity to let you safely enjoy hands-free calls and music streaming on the go. The seven-inch touchscreen fitted as standard to the EX and ELX trims is conveniently placed high on the dashboard, so you don’t need to take your eyes off the road for more than a split second. ELX versions also include a TomTom satellite navigation system to help you reach your destination easily and on time.
